Painting as an explosive…
…Overinformation/noninformation as number one
pulic ennemy. Under the nice pretext to want to inform us,make
us understand, "educate us", medias (newspapers, television, movie...)
guide our vision of the world, our way of thinking, until killing
little by little our power of imagination.
Taking this into account, Arthur Anttila considers
his pictorial work as as much places of opposition
in front of Big Brother who intents governing our lives: each produced
picture does not fix an idea but propose a compostition of several
possibilities of reading, whose approved aim is to make the
spectator's imaginary work; so the success of a work is
sized thanks to its capacity to triggered as many new stories as
there are spectators, each using his own references to elucidate
the image, offered as a call to creativity.
